Remaps is a trusted vehicle enhancement business based just outside Castlederg, Co. Tyrone, on the border with Co. Donegal. We’ve been helping drivers since 2006 with expert ECU remapping, performance tuning and economy upgrades.

A Stage 1 remap is a software upgrade to your vehicle’s ECU that optimises fuel, boost and timing within safe limits of the standard hardware. The result is more power, more torque and often improved fuel economy — with no physical modifications required.
Stage 1 is designed for a completely standard car. Stage 2 is usually written for vehicles that have supporting hardware upgrades (for example a freer-flowing exhaust or induction kit). We will advise which is suitable for your vehicle and goals.
Manufacturers can sometimes detect software changes. If your car is still under manufacturer warranty, we can discuss the implications before any work is carried out so you can make an informed decision.
A poorly written map can. We only use carefully developed software that stays within safe mechanical and thermal limits of your engine and drivetrain. Quality mapping is designed to enhance performance without compromising reliability.
You should notify your insurer of any performance modifications. Failure to do so can affect a claim. We’re happy to provide details of the work carried out for your records.
